We’re Moving Our Community to Linked In!!

In response to an overwhelming interest by the CMM’s to simplify their social networking, AMI will be closing the current CMM site, http://cmmami.ning.com/, and moving the CMM network to a CMM subgroup within AMI’s already established LinkedIn group.  The NEW CMM LinkedIn group will be available immediately upon receipt of this email.

How to Join Us:

An invitation to join the CMM Linked In Group will be emailed to you this week via LinkedIn messaging. To join the group please accept this invitation, or after signing in to your LinkedIn profile use the groups search bar in the upper right hand corner and search for “Certified Marina Managers” a group will appear in the results that has the CMM logo. Click to join the group and an AMI staff member will review and accept your request promptly.

If You Need To Create a LinkedIn Profile:

If you do not currently have a LinkedIn profile, we encourage you to do so and would be happy to help you if you encounter any troubles during the free setup process. To create a new profile, navigate to www.linkedin.com and follow the step by step instructions when you click “Get Started” on the center of the page. LinkedIn is a fee service designed especially for professional networking.

The Ning Site:

The current CMM Ning site will remain active until June 30, 2012, in order to give all CMMs the opportunity to transition to LinkedIn and to set up their own profile, in the event they are not currently active in the LinkedIn site.  Beginning July 1, 2012 the current CMM Ning site will be closed and all CMM networking will then take place through the new CMM LinkedIn group.
